I love all the red in Japan. This is the main Buddhist temple in Kada.

Seems like a logical option. This is one of the first photos I took in Japan. It's in the garden below Wakayama Castle. It's only a small photo as my computer crashed and I had problems saving things but not to worry. I love the peace and tranquility of this photo. I was quite struck by the lack of colour in most Japanese gardens - but the colour is replaced by so many shades of green.

What happened to the Japanese blog?

Good question. We left Japan and it got left unfinished. Sounds strangely familiar. I suppose when I die I'll have so many things to do I won't have time but anyway. I lived in Japan from April 2004 to March 2005. Rafa was there from October 2003 to March 2005. We had some wonderful experiences and a lot of culture shock. We'd love to go back, jobs and work visas permitting, one day, soon, maybe, though maybe other destinations are calling too. But this blog needs continuing, maybe even finishing. At least I want to include some more of my photos and maybe even some musings. We'll see.
